Spring has sprung and with it the new gardening season. So now is the time to hire from our extensive range of professional gardening equipment.
Whether you are working on the lawn, the garden, the hedge or an overgrown wilderness we have the right tool for the job.
The Garden Master 20″ rotary mower, available in both self push and power drive has height adjustment that allows it to cope with up to 6″ of grass.
Anything higher can be cut down using either a Camon Power Scythe or a Stihl brush cutter. The Stihl brush cutter is available with interchangeable cutting heads to suit different jobs.
Once the grass is cut you can scarify with one of our Allen Lawn Doctors or Turf Doctors. Or even get rid of the turf altogether with a Garden Master Turf Cutter.
If rotovating is your thing we have a choice of four models. For the smaller jobs there is the 5hp Honda Tiller. The Camon 8hp Cultivator has driving wheels and can offer a finer finish and where a bit more grunt is required we have the Barreto 9hp and 13hp hydraulic rotovators.
If you are erecting a new fence why not hire an auger for the post holes. We have either manual or Stihl engine powered augers in a variety of sizes. We even have a fence post rammer for driving in the posts afterwards.

Paslode Nailer Introduced
We have introduced to our hire fleet the Paslode IM350/90 Impulse Cordless Strip Nailer.
This 3.1kg cordless nailer will drive 51mm (2″) to 90mm (3.5″) nails and has a rate of fire of two per second (1000 per hour), which makes it ideal for many first fix construction tasks including: floorboards, decking, roof battens, studwork, joists, frame building, cladding, fencing and panelling. (It is also widely used in timber frame manufacture and second fix interior construction).
Easily replaceable gas cartridges power the machine and an integral 6volt rechargeable battery generates its spark. (2 hour recharge time, battery life approx 4000 fixings). The magazine strip of nails is self feeding, thus giving rapid and powerful fixing.

New Dumpers …
The new Thwaites 3-Tonne Dumpers were added to the hire fleet during April.
These four wheel drive front tipping dumpers feature the Yanmar 41.2bhp water cooled low noise diesel engine and the Thwaites’ Kinglink chassis for superior stability and traction.
The Thwaites 3-Tonne Dumper is availbale for hire at £135 per week + vat.
… Digger …
Following the success of the Volvo EC55 5-Tonne excavator purchased last Summer, we have added a second machine to the hire fleet.
It boasts an identical specification including air conditioning and a radio/cassette player.
The EC55 is available for hire at £425 per week + vat.
… and Plates
April also saw the addition of six new Bomag compactor plates.
Five new 8/34 plates (as pictured) were purchased along with one 15/45-2.
The 8/34 is just under 14″ wide and is ideal for all the smaller jobs, while the 15/45-2 measures 18″ wide and is preferable where greater compaction is required.
The 8/34 and 15/45-2 plate compactors are available for hire for £40 per week each + vat.
