Prop Pal Needles Join Range

Red Rhino Mini Crusher

A conveyor belt can be seen on the front of the mini crusher.Today we have added a Red Rhino 4000 mini crusher to our hire range, providing you with an on-site option to help reduce muck away bills and bought in hardcore costs.

The Red Rhino 4000 is a tracked, hydraulic jaw mini crusher, providing onsite crushing of concrete, brick, porcelain, glass and other aggregate type products. The hydraulic jaws can be adjusted to change the desired output size, from 20mm – 80mm and dust suppression is covered with a hose connection fitting.

Gardening Equipment Reinforcements

This month we have bolstered our gardening equipment fleet with the purchase of a new Camon LS42 Scarifier and a Cobra 21” Rotary Mower.

The 42cm working width Camon LS42 arrived at the ideal time, as March and April are prime scarifying months.

The Cobra MX534SPH self-propelled lawnmower has a 4-speed gearbox and a cutting width of 53cm. It is powered by a Honda GCVX170 4-stroke engine, giving reliability and performance, and is perfect for a medium to large domestic lawn.

Coverage Area Extended to 40 Miles

A map of the 40 mile coverage radius for Didcot Plant.For the past few years, we’ve limited our area of coverage to 30 miles from Didcot, but with the recent increase in manpower are now extending this to 40 miles.

So, the next time you’re working that little bit further away please give us the chance to quote. We think you’ll be nicely surprised by how reasonable our transport rates are.

Post Driver Added to Hire Range

A product photo of the Portek Post Driver on a white back ground.This week we’ve added a new line to our hire range in the form of Portek’s 2-stroke Post Driver.

The Portek Post Driver has a high impact hammer action to drive fencing posts, signs and tree stakes or pegs into the ground.

It comes complete with a round post holder and adaptor rings for posts and stakes from 1″ to 4″ diameter.

The optional square post holder accessory enables 3″ x 3″, 4″ x 3″ and 4″ x 4″ posts to be driven.

Two New Kubota KX085-5’s

The KX085-5 brings all the latest features you’d expect:

  • Smooth operation from the turbo-diesel, direct injection V3307 engine.
  • A new class-leading spacious cab with superb all-round vision including a skylight and easy-open gas-assisted front window, advanced visibility mirrors plus an improved eight-vent air conditioning.
  • A double-adjustable air suspension seat, wider foot space, ergonomically shaped longer foot pedals plus an arm and wrist rest help to significantly reduce strain and minimise operator fatigue.
  • A 7-inch full colour digital display screen features Kubota’s Intelligent Control System. Accurate displays of all necessary readings – such as routine maintenance alerts, engine temperature and a 90-day usage register (for machine hours worked) – are all at the operator’s fingertips.
  • A rear-view camera displays the view on the 7″ LCD screen in the cab.
  • Fitted with Kubota’s industry-leading Anti-Theft system. Only programmed keys will enable the engine to start up.
  • 7.33m reach and 4.6m digging depth.

Another 9.0m Telehandler Added to Range

This is a side view of it showing the overhead extendable lifting arm.In February 2024 we fancied buying another Manitou MT625 6.0m telehandler but there was going to be a delay to supply so we decided to extend the range into the 9.0m model instead. 18 months later and the success of the first one has prompted us to double up with a second.

Complementing the 6.0m MT625, the MT930 offers a similarly compact design but provides extra mast length and lifting capability.

New Dumper Added to Range

Photo of a power swivel skip dumper. It's branded Thwaites and is in the 1.5 tonnes weight bracket. This dumper is bright yellow and has it's bucket swiveled to the side demonstrating this feature.The arrival this month of two Thwaites 1.5t Swivel Dumpers sees a new line added to our dumper range.

At 1300mm wide, the Thwaites 1.5t Swivel is ideally suited to confined spaces and/or tight access. It is powered by 3-cylinder water cooled Yanmar diesel engine and utilises a Hydrostatic Transmission for ease of operation. The skip can be swivelled to 90 degrees left or right, allowing loads to be tipped in restricted areas.

New Skip Load Dumpers

This month we have boosted our skip loader fleet with the purchase of two Hinowa HS701 tracked barrows and two Thwaites 1.0t Hi Tip dumpers.

The Hinowa HS701 is a compact tracked mini dumper with very low ground pressure. At just 758mm wide it is designed to easily pass through a garden gateway. It also features a hi-tip mast lift for tipping into skips or onto flat-bed trailers.

The perennially popular Thwaites 1.0t Hi Tip is the perfect partner for the Kubota U17 mini excavator (or whenever you’re loading skips in tight spaces). It is just 1115mm wide with a load capacity of 1000kg.

New Timberwolf Chipper

The TW 160PH is a hydraulic feed towable 6″ woodchipper, fitted with a powerful 22hp Honda petrol engine and twin hydraulic feed rollers to handle branches to a maximum diameter of 152mm (6″).

Although it’s built with professionals in mind, the TW 160PH is also small enough and user friendly enough for non-trade use.
