New Kubota KX71-3 Triple
Three more new 3-tonne Kubota KX71-3 mini excavators arrived in February, to bolster an increasingly popular aspect of the digger fleet.
With its long arm the KX71-3 delivers the combination of excellent digging depth and power, which Kubota claim makes it the industry leader in its class.
The KX71-3 includes a number of smart design features:

Two More Hi-tip Barrows
To keep up with demand for the excellent TCP Hi-T500 skip loading power barrow we have added two more to the fleet this month.
Narrow access, good payload
At just 700mm wide the Hi-T500 goes just about anywhere, including through a 2’6″ doorframe. It has a carrying capacity of 500kg (200 litres) and can tip to 1200mm – the height of a standard skip. The high tipping linkage design also allows for a full 180 degree discharge of the payload at low level.
Reduced noise and vibration
The Hi-T500 boasts a reduction in noise levels to conform to the 2006 Noise at Work regulations and the ergonomically designed operating position has been independently verified to reduce hand/arm vibration (HAV).
Powerful engine, great performance
Fitted with an electric start Kubota OC95 diesel engine the Hi-T500 has a forward speed of 4kph and the drive and control are fully hydrostatic.

New 1-tonne Skip Loaders
The Thwaites 1-tonne Hi-Tip Dumper is without doubt our most popular dumper and on the last day of February two more machines arrived to help ensure we can keep up with demand.
The Thwaites Hi-Tip measures just 1115mm wide and gives a discharge height of 1.6m. It can safely carry up to 1000kg in weight, 500 litres of heaped material or 400 litres struck.
It is fitted with the latest hydrostatic drive system with variable displacement pump that feeds the four wheel motors. The ‘Twin-Lock’ system maximises traction.

Our website www.didcotplant.co.uk has been undergoing quite a few improvements over the last four months and the latest of those improvements is the ability to reserve equipment or get a quote online.
The new system allows you to request a quote on anything from our online catalogue. It sends an automated email giving us the pertinent information to provide you with a quote.
The reserving part of the system is available for some 130 catalogue items, many of them staple items. You can book these items 24 hours, seven days a week.
