Moisture Meter

Faithfull Moisture MeterWe stock the Faithfull Moisture Meter that can be purchased to complement the hire of one of our dehumidifiers.

It gives a moisture content reading as a percentage and can be used to measure the moisture content in timber, mortar, concrete and plaster.

As a general guideline up to 16% moisture content is considered to be acceptable, 16-20% is borderline and above 20% is concerning.

So, if you’ve had a leak or have a damp problem that needs tackling with a dehumidifier you can take readings throughout the drying out process and are able to make an informed decision as to progress and when the dehumidifier is no longer required.
