The arrival of two new Fords upgraded our vehicle fleet at the end of November.
First to arrive was a superb Transit Connect. This versatile little van was bought to replace the Mercedes Vito and will be used mainly for site maintenance visits. (more…)

The last day of October saw the arrival of another new Kubota KX36-3 1.5-tonne mini excavator.
This versatile machine is packed with the latest mini digger specification and has been, in Kubota’s own words, designed “to be second to none at efficiently handling the broadest range of jobs.” (more…)

In September we added a Lawnflite Ride-on Mower to our ever expanding hire range.
The Lawnflite provides a 36″/920mm cutting width and has a collection capacity of 240 litres. (more…)

New to our range in August was portable fume extraction.
Suitable for many working scenarios these 31cm diameter units can be used to cool, ventilate or extract clean or dirty air from both restricted and open environments at a rate of 3250 cubic meters per hour. (more…)

In June we took the decision to start buying the new Stihl TS410 12″ disc cutters and the first five were put in to action in the first week in July.
More saws will be phased in over the coming months, eventually replacing the existing fleet of Partner disc cutters. (more…)

Our recent run of investing in the hire fleet showed no signs of letting up in April as we added four more items of capital plant.
These were a Thwaites 6-tonne Swivel Skip Dumper, a Bomag 120AD-3 Roller, a Kubota K008-3 0.8-tonne Mini Excavator and a Kubota KX71-3 3-tonne Mini Excavator. (more…)

New to our range this month are GRP Road Plates and Trench Covers.
Road Plates have traditionally been made out of steel which made them very heavy and difficult to handle but these new products are made out of Glass Reinforced Plastic (GRP) and are a fraction of the weight of their steel equivalents. Despite being much lighter they do not lose any of their strength either. (more…)

Three more new 3-tonne Kubota KX71-3 mini excavators arrived in February, to bolster an increasingly popular aspect of the digger fleet.
