New Trailer is ‘the Business’
Our new triple-axle car transporter trailer is the business for moving heavier vehicles.
Built by Brian James Trailers this robust trailer boasts a 4.8m tilting bed that is lowered and raised hydraulically. This tilting feature allows for safe and easy loading and unloading of vehicles up to a weight of 2700kg.
It also comes fitted with a manual winch with central pulley that provides a drag capacity if 2250kg.
This new trailer fits perfectly into our range and complements the smaller car transporters to cover the heavier vehicle moves.
The triple-axle car transporter can be hired at £150 per week / £75 per day or weekend (less applicable discount) + vat.

Milwaukee ‘Kangos’ as Good as Ever
The good old ‘Kango’ is as popular as ever so to keep up with demand we added five new ones to the fleet in September.
They may look a bit different now, coming as they do in Milwaukee Power Tools’ striking red livery, but they are as good as ever.
The Milwaukee 900K, as it is now known, offers the ever reliable combination of robust design and superior performance. Other features include:
- AVS Anti-Vibration System on all handles
- Soft-start
- No-load spped limitation
- Lock-on switch
- Service indicator light
- Speed pre-selection switch

New Silenced Generators
These two new Stephill SE6000D/4 generators joined the fleet in October.
Fitted with Yanmar L100 diesel engines they provide 5.5kva of electricity in either 110v or 240v. The engines are mounted within a fully enclosed weatherproof acoustic cabinet to reduce noise levels, allowing them to comply with EC noise legislation.
The SE6000D/4 is fitted with a 24 litre fuel tank that gives an approximate running time at full load of 13 hours.
A Stephill SE6000D/4 5.5kva diesel generator can be hired at £80 per week (less applicable discount) + vat.

New Bomag Compaction Double
Recent additions to the hire fleet were a Bomag 120 AD-4 roller and a Bomag BT60/4 Rammer.
The 120AD-4 is Bomag’s latest specification roller at this drum width. It boasts the latest Kubota engine for a smoother operating experience and Bomag’s new variable spped sprinkler system.
The BT60/4 rammer is fitted with a 4-stroke engine so the problems traditionally suffered by 2-stroke rammers are avoided.
The 120AD-4 can be hired at £180 per week and the BT60/4 at £60 per week, both less applicable discount and + vat.
