New Volvos Boost Digger Fleet
Three new Volvo mini excavators arrived at the end of June to boost the excavator fleet.
They were two EC30 3-tonne machines and one EC15 1.5-tonne machine.
The Volvo EC30 is available for hire at £345 per week + vat.
The Volvo EC15 is available for hire at £230 per week + vat.

In the Groove
New to our range this month is the Tongue & Groove Nailer.
Designed to nail flooring without splitting the tongue or damaging the floor surface, the Tongue & Groove Nailer applies the nails at the perfect 45 degree angle, while countersinking to the correct depth.
The Tongue & Groove Nailer is available for hire at £30 per week + vat.

Mini Pavior Saw Bench
This new 12″ saw bench (described by Clipper as “A totally new concept”) offers safe, fast and accurate cutting of block paviors.
Standard and angled repeat cuts can be achieved and laid as the job progresses, locking the blocks as you go. This provides improved stability of laid blocks and can dramatically cut laying time.
The Mini Clipper is available for hire at £50 per week + vat.

Don’t suffer in silence when temperatures soar, Didcot Plant can help!
For sauna-like offices we have portable air conditioners and fans.
For larger areas such as workshops and warehouses we can offer high volume ‘Rhino’ fans with their powerful 20″ blades.
If you need to do some digging don’t put up with a stuffy cab, hire one of our Volvo EC55 5-tonne excavators fitted with an air conditioned cab. It’s the coolest place on site.
And when you visit our depot be sure to take advantage of the new ice-cold spring water cooler situated in the shop.
Portable air conditioners are available for hire at £80 per week + vat.
Medium portable fans are available for hire at £25 per week + vat.

Barriers & Fencing
A recent new addition to our hire fleet was low level barriers. These 2.5m long, 1.1m high multiple usage barriers provide an excellent compliment to our existing temporary site fencing line.
Whereas the temporary fencing has site security as one of its main applications, the low level barriers tackle situations where safety is a priority. This might be to provide pedestrian and vehicular safety from excavations or other site works.
They are also ideal for pedestrian demarcation and control typically faced by the events industry.
The barriers are a one piece design with heavy gauge tubular feet, welded in an offset position. They are joined together with a locking hook and eye system. This makes it almost impossible to violate the barriers integrity until removal is required.
Low level barriers are available at £2 each per week + vat. Temporary fencing is available for hire at £3 each per week + vat. (Discount for quantity and long hire periods is available on application.)
