The arrival of our new hot drinks machine in November means that you can now enjoy a warming cuppa when you visit our yard this winter.
The machine is situated in the corner of the shop next to the sliding door so you can help yourself to whatever you want.
The drinks available are black coffee, white coffee, white coffee with sugar, tea and tea with sugar.
Clean up this Autumn with one of our new Karcher Puzzi 200 carpet cleaners. Four new units arrived in October.
The Puzzi 200 is well built but surprisingly light-weight and is ideal for domestic jobs.
Its simple design makes it easy to use allowing the operator to get on with the job in hand.

The Puzzi 200 is available for hire at £20 + vat for a day or £25.20 + vat for a weekend. The 4 in 1 cleaning solution is available at £5.25 + vat per litre.

Time flies when you’re having fun and amazingly we will have been in our Basil Hill Road depot for three years on 10th September.
To celebrate this fact we are delivering all hire equipment Free Of Charge throughout September. Collection will still be charged as standard.
During our first three years in Basil Hill Road we have made numerous improvements to the site as well as to the hire fleet.
The extra space we now have has allowed us to branch out and offer a greater variety of equipment. New additions to the hire fleet include 5 and 6-Tonne Dumpers, Temporary Fencing and 5-Tonne Excavators.
We have also been able to increase numbers throughout the hire fleet to be in our current position where we have never offered such a large and diverse range.
In July we added a new Renault Midlum 180 plant lorry to our fleet of vehicles.
The plant body of this 10-tonne gross lorry was built by Ken Kerr Bodybuilders of Stanton Harcourt and will take a pay-load of 4.6-tonnes.
This generous pay-load capacity gives us many more options when planning deliveries and will improve response times on transport of larger equipment.
Soaring temperatures are lovely as long as you are not stuck in a hot office, stifling workshop or stuffy digger cab. So why suffer when there is something you can do about it?
To battle the hot weather we have available for hire portable air conditioning units, powerful fans and air conditioned cabs in the 5-Tonne Mini Excavators.
The portable air conditioning units come with window discharge kits and can be set up for cooling within minutes.
The powerful ‘Rhino’ Fans are ideal for cooling in a multitude of locations including factories and workshops.
The Volvo EC55 5-Tonne Mini Excavator has a fully air conditioned cab making it a joy to operate whatever the weather.
So, suffer no longer!
Portable air conditioners are available for hire at £80 per week + vat, Fans at £55 per week + vat and 5-Tonne Excavators at £490 per week + vat.
We have been investing in the hire fleet again this month and have added a new dumper and two new excavators.
The dumper is the new Thwaites 1-Tonne capacity Hi-Tip with hydrostatic drive. This dumper is designed for skip loading and is just 1115mm wide for sites with tight access. The high tipping skip has a variable discharge height up to 1.6m.
The two new excavators are an EC30 3-Tonne and an EC55 5-Tonne both manufactured by Volvo.
The EC30 is a new model to the fleet and offer all the usual neat design features and performance characteristics you’ve come to expect from Volvo machines.
The EC55 joins our 5-Tonne fleet to meet the demand for this increasingly popular size of machine.

The hire fleet received a boost in April with the arrival of a number of new items of equipment.
The biggest of these was the addition of another Bomag 120AD-3 to the roller fleet.
Also added to the hire fleet (all pictured above right) was another Paslode Cordless Nailer, DeWalt Compound Mitre Saw, Allen Turf Doctor Scarifier and two Bomag 8/34 Plate Compactors.
Added to the hire fleet, but not pictured here, were Staging Boards, Partner K650 Disc Cutters, Skip Ramps and a Numatic Industrial Vacuum Cleaner.
All of these additions are part of the ongoing program ensuring the availability and quality of our equipment.

Following on from the popularity of last month’s deal we are doing the same thing during March.
All transport of hires beginning in March will be delivered and collected Free Of Charge!
Again, it does not matter how much or how little you want to hire we’ll take care of the transportation costs.
As in February the collection of newly hired items during March will stay free of charge regardless of when the item is off-hired. It does not matter how many weeks or months later, it will still be free.
Yes, that’s right, all transport of hires beginning in February will be delivered and collected Free of Charge!
It does not matter how much or how little you are hiring, a lorry load of diggers or just a couple of scaffold boards, the transport costs will be on us.
Why not also take advantage of our advance delivery service where we get your equipment to site on the afternoon prior to the actual day of use. It still goes on hire when you want but guarantees that you get an early start.
