Get Fenced In

We are very pleased to announce that temporary fencing has now been added to our ever expanding hire fleet.

The 3.5m x 2m fence panels provide temporary fencing for a multitude of situations from construction sites to sporting events and fairs.

Each panel comes with thermo-plastic feet and two heavy duty fence couplers and boasts an anti-climb design.

Manufactured by ZND UK, each fence panel utilises ‘Smartweld’ technology whereby each corner joint incorporates a full 360 degree weld, resulting in improved strength and increased life span.

New Drill Breezes Through Block & Brick

A comprehensive range of Diamond tipped core drills are powered by the 1700 watt Worksafe DB1700T rotary drill, a new addition to our hire fleet in July.

Ideal for the ‘one hole’ hire, especially for brick and breeze block, this kit enables fast and precise drilling of holes up to 152mm (6″) diameter through double skin walls.

Just pre drill a 13mm pilot hole (bit supplied) then follow through with the core bit and pilot rod to achieve a smooth clean result.

The comprehensive kit comprises a choice of dry diamond core bits (38mm, 52mm, 107mm, 117mm, 127mm & 152mm), a 1700 watt drill and carry case, a pilot rod assembly, an extension drive bar and a pilot hole drill bit.

The DB 1700T Diamond Drill is available for hire at £40 per week (core bit extra).

New 008s Licensed to Dig

You’ll be stirred but not shaken by the new Kubota K-008-3 mini excavator. Five new machines, providing the one-two punch of power combined with portability, arrived from Leach Lewis Plant during June.

Since its introduction to the hire fleet in 1997 the 0.8-tonne Kubota K-008 mini excavator has become one of our most popular machines and with the improvements made to the latest model this popularity can only increase.

The ability to squeeze through narrow gaps is one of the K-008’s strongest features and with the new model the overall width has been reduced 50mm to 750mm. Once through the gap the tracks can be hydraulically adjusted out to 860mm for greater stability.

Driver comfort has also been addressed with the provision for increased legroom and an improved slewing control design makes switching from 180 to 360 degrees instantaneous.

The powerful water-cooled three cylinder Kubota engine is state of the art providing highly efficient combustion which results in a reduction to exhaust emissions, noise and vibration. It has been repositioned under the canopy to allow for easier access to all the daily checks.

The Kubota K-008-3 is available for hire at £200 per week + vat.

Spring into Action

Spring has sprung and with it the new gardening season. So now is the time to hire from our extensive range of professional gardening equipment.

Whether you are working on the lawn, the garden, the hedge or an overgrown wilderness we have the right tool for the job.

The Garden Master 20″ rotary mower, available in both self push and power drive has height adjustment that allows it to cope with up to 6″ of grass.

Anything higher can be cut down using either a Camon Power Scythe or a Stihl brush cutter. The Stihl brush cutter is available with interchangeable cutting heads to suit different jobs.

Once the grass is cut you can scarify with one of our Allen Lawn Doctors or Turf Doctors. Or even get rid of the turf altogether with a Garden Master Turf Cutter.

If rotovating is your thing we have a choice of four models. For the smaller jobs there is the 5hp Honda Tiller. The Camon 8hp Cultivator has driving wheels and can offer a finer finish and where a bit more grunt is required we have the Barreto 9hp and 13hp hydraulic rotovators.

If you are erecting a new fence why not hire an auger for the post holes. We have either manual or Stihl engine powered augers in a variety of sizes. We even have a fence post rammer for driving in the posts afterwards.
